Spring Term in Asia From time to time during the six-week spring term, the East Asian Studies Program provides an opportunities for study and travel in Asia under the guidance of a Washington and Lee faculty member. The destinations of the trips and the content of the study projects may vary, but all have the common goal of introducing Asian countries and their cultures. At least one year of Chinese or Japanese and a course on East Asia are strongly recommended. Courses are announced early in the fall term. A minimum enrollment is required for the course to be given, and interested students are requested to submit a non-binding expression of interest form as soon as possible. Financial aid for this program may be available. Interested students should consult the Office of Student Financial Aid prior to its November 15 deadline. Information regarding the program may be obtained from the Program Director.
The itinerary and specific content of these courses will be announced early in the fall term of each year they are offered.
